Is the PDP main stage 5 piece drum set with sabian cymbals good?

is it good? well thats a pretty subjective term. good compared to some no-name brand? sure. good compared to some intermediate tamas or pearls? not really. pdp is a pretty good beginner brand. they are basically DW knockoffs, but they are affordable, and made by a reputable manufacturer. it looks like the cymbals it comes with are b8s, which are bottom-of-the-line for sabian. but, its a great kit for a beginner in my opinion. if you have a few years of experience, i would consider something a bit better.
